The Fayette County Farmland Protection Board works to protect and preserve the county’s valuable agricultural land and rural character for future generations. The Board supports the conservation of farmland and open space through partnerships, education, and farmland preservation efforts in accordance with West Virginia’s farmland protection programs.
The Board works with landowners, local organizations, and state partners to promote the long-term preservation of agricultural resources throughout Fayette County.
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 5:00 pm at New Roots Community Farm.
